MetaTrader 5 Indicator

In this lesson, you’ll learn how to set up and configure the MenthorQ levels indicator for MetaTrader 5. As a Premium membership benefit, you can access MenthorQ data directly within your MetaTrader platform by installing a custom indicator that plots Q levels onto your charts.

To get started, navigate to your account dashboard and locate the Integrations menu on the left side. Look for MetaTrader and click the button to access the documentation link and download link for the indicator. You’ll need to download the indicator file and save it to your computer. The guide also includes a sample text file that you’ll need to create for uploading the levels.

Before using the indicator, you must set up your data file properly. Open the data folder by clicking File then Open Data Folder, navigate to MQL5, then go to Files. In this location, you’ll create text files for each symbol you want to trade. The critical step is customizing the string to match your broker’s exact symbol format. For example, if you trade the NQ and the string shows ES$ES1, you need to rename it to match your broker’s symbol exactly—whether that’s ES/U 2024 or esu24. Check your watch list to find the precise symbol or ticker your broker uses.

The instructor demonstrates trading the S&P 500 and shows how to rename the SPX index data to SP500 for easier management. When using blind spots levels, create a separate file renamed as S&P 500BL. To apply the indicator to your chart, drag the MenthorQ levels indicator onto your chart and set the file name to match your text file (like SP500.TXT). You can customize the display by toggling levels between true or false and changing colors—the instructor prefers setting all lines to black.

On the one minute time frame, you can see how the indicator displays levels like blind spot six and one name Max, creating perfect setups for your trading strategies. The indicator works seamlessly across different timeframes, giving you everything you need for institutional-grade trading data directly in MetaTrader 5.

Hey traders. In this video we are going to show you how to set up the Mentor Q levels indicator for MetaTrader 5. As a part of the Premium membership, you can access Mentor queue Data in your MetaTrader platform. We have created an indicator to plot the Q levels onto your chart. Once you activate your Premium membership, go into your account dashboard and locate the Integrations menu on the left.

[00:00:26.24] - Speaker 1
Look for Metatrader and click on the button Here you can find a link to our documentations and the link to download the indicator. Click here to download the file and save it on your computer. Within the guide you can also find all the instructions to get set up. You can also find a sample text file that you will need to create to upload the levels. All right Traders, so first of all before we start, so we have to set up our data file.

[00:00:59.17] - Speaker 1
So from the Mentor queue indicator, how we can do it first step is we open the data folder. So click on file open data folder. We see the data folder like Here click on MQL5 and then go to files. And here I have set up already two files. So what you can do is so open your file what you already have done.

[00:01:33.08] - Speaker 1
So then what you should do is put in here your string. Whatever you, whatever you're looking for, if you're looking for the smp, if you're looking for the and Q if you're looking for the Dow Jones, if you're looking for gold, whatever you're looking for here is the part where you can put on your string but it's really important and I give you the example. When you get the string, it looks like if you trade the NQ, it looks like ES$ES1 and the simple so it looks like this. So what you can do is like change this in your broker simple. So you find on your watch list the exact simple what what your broker is using.

[00:02:29.03] - Speaker 1
For example, if your broker is using for the ES futures ES/U 2024 then this is your simple. If your broker using for example esu24 then this is your simple. And the same is for nq the same is for everything. So whatever simple you're looking for, look first in your watch list. But I think as a metatrader trader you know exactly how how your simple or your ticker is looking like and then rename it.

[00:03:08.00] - Speaker 1
So for me, basically I'm trading at the moment the S P500. So for me it looks like SP500. All right, so I have here my string. So it's based on the SPX I get this out like SPX because what is the difference between the index and the futures? It's based on the options data and I'm when I'm trading the indices, the S P500 indices, I would love to have the SPX but I rename it and S&P500.

[00:03:48.05] - Speaker 1
All right, so what I have to do is save and then that's it. And if you use the blind spots also, then make a new new list where you have the S&P 500bl. So I rename it also I rename it AN S&P 500 S&P 500, B&L so that I can easily manage the document where I have to put in the string and I show you why I'm doing this later. It's really easy and really simple. So here you have my blind spot levels.

[00:04:25.06] - Speaker 1
So same concept. So the blind spot was coming with SPX and then BL1, BL2 and again and again. What I was doing, change it in S P 500. That's it. And then what I was using save and done.

[00:04:44.06] - Speaker 1
All right, we have our mentor Q levels indicator. What we're doing is we put this now on the chart like this. And then you can see here is the file name ninja output TXT I rename it in SP500 TXT why? Because for every symbol I have a document what I was showing you before. All right, so then I will be close this and what we go, what we're getting we get now the levels from the S P500 if you want close this.

[00:05:27.19] - Speaker 1
So then I go to indicator list and belated from my chart. That's it. And if I want this BL on my shot, what I'm doing, linear output punct is always there. So I rename it and SP 500bl and here we go. I click on.

[00:05:52.10] - Speaker 1
Okay, so now it should be work here, look at this. Now it works. Let's do it really quick again. So here we go. Here we have now an SP 500 point TXT and then click on OK, here we go.

[00:06:13.13] - Speaker 1
We get the gamma levels on our chart. What we make now is we can also play around with the levels. So if you want not see the first one then you can also say okay, make false now true or false. And also you can change the colors. So basically what I'm liking is I like to have everyone in black.

[00:06:39.01] - Speaker 1
So this is only an example. And then click on ok. And you see now we have now some black lines. All right, and that's it. This is the Mentor queue level indicator. It's really nice.

[00:06:52.16] - Speaker 1
It's. It's fantastic work. It's easy to use. But let me show you something also. So you have now the blind spots.

[00:07:01.11] - Speaker 1
You have now everything on your shot. If you go on to the one minute time frame. Look at this. How it looks like, Looks fantastic. You have here the blind spot six.

[00:07:11.11] - Speaker 1
You have here the one name, Max. Perfect for trading setups. So, yeah, you have everything what you need on your side now, champs. Happy trading, my friends.
