This lesson demonstrates how to use the advanced levels conversion feature on NinjaTrader, allowing you to convert gamma and swing levels from one asset to another directly on your chart. You’ll learn how to transform levels from instruments like SPX, Nvidia, or other assets onto the futures or stocks you’re actively trading.
The conversion process offers two methods: auto ratio and manual ratio. With auto ratio, the system automatically converts levels using live price data if you have the appropriate data feed. If you don’t have access to the price feed for the source asset, you can use manual ratio by entering the conversion ratio yourself (for example, 1.00652 for SPX to ES conversion). Once applied, you’ll see the converted levels displayed on your chart alongside your original instrument’s levels.
You have complete control over which levels appear on your chart. For instance, you can display intraday gamma levels from SPX on your ES chart, or convert Nvidia intraday gamma levels onto NQ. The lesson shows how changing your selection from standard gamma levels to gamma levels intraday instantly updates the conversion. You can also manage swing levels visibility, including the risk trigger, by selecting show or hide options.
A major advantage highlighted in this lesson is that everything is available via API, making the conversion process seamless. You can view multiple converted levels simultaneously—for example, displaying both Nvidia levels and NQ gamma levels on the same chart. This powerful functionality enables you to analyze key institutional levels from correlated assets while trading your preferred instrument, all accomplished in just a few simple steps.

[00:00:15.18] - Speaker 1 So now the conversion allows me to basically convert one of the levels or more of the levels into the asset that I want to convert from. So let's say I want to convert SPX to yes.
[00:00:35.05] - Speaker 1 I now have the option to do auto ratio or manual ratio. If you have a feed which is not my case, you can use auto ratio and the system will automatically convert using the end of the price of the two asset. I do not have the data feed so I cannot convert. So no price data available for spx. But I can simply come here and say I want my money ratio and my manual ratio.
[00:00:59.20] - Speaker 1 Going back to the previous slide was 1.00652. I convert that and now I can see my gamma levels. I can see my swing levels on SPX all the way to the left.
[00:01:16.29] - Speaker 1 Now let's say we want to convert intraday gamma levels of SPX to yes. How do we do that? Simply by changing our gamma levels right here to gamma levels intraday hit on apply and this will basically convert our.
[00:01:37.18] - Speaker 1 SPX gamma levels intraday into yes, we have them here.
[00:01:48.00] - Speaker 1 And the reason why you don't see any levels here is because we don't have intraday levels for future. So the intraday levels for the future have now disappeared. But we now have the intraday levels for spx, right? So very, very simple. You also see the string levels.
[00:02:06.01] - Speaker 1 So you see for example the risk trigger here and then you see other swing levels. So if I want them to disappear, I can also come back here and I can say show none and now they would disappear, right? So now my chart only has intraday string gamma levels from SPX on my S chart, right?
[00:02:38.24] - Speaker 1 Yeah. And I think another advantage of this indicator versus the trading view one is that everything is available via API. So let's, let's make another example. So let's say we want to convert Nvidia to mq, right?
[00:02:59.27] - Speaker 1 I don't have prices on Nvidia, so I would need to use the manual ratio. If I look at my manual ratio right now is158.0.75, right? So I, I go, I went from my trading view, I look at the ratio and I hit on apply. So now we can go into MQ and we should be able to see our Nvidia levels right there. So now I'm using Nvidia intraday gamma levels converted on in Q in like three simple steps.
[00:03:38.18] - Speaker 1 And then let's say I then want to convert and I just want to have gamma levels. I could have the Nvidia levels as well as the NQ gamma levels on the on the right hand side, Which I think is very, very powerful, sat.
